Rachael Tarchuk

Studio Director

Rachael started dancing at 3 years of age training initially in ballet at various dance studios across New Zealand and Australia. Her love for performing soon saw her add singing, jazz and tap to her repertoire. Rachael has appeared in many musical theatre productions, films and commercials. She holds the Royal Academy of Dance teaching certificate and the International Dance Teachers Association teaching Fellowships in Ballet, Freestyle and the Licentiate Certificate in Modern Jazz.

Rachael is passionate about inspiring and nurturing performing artists and prides herself on creating a positive learning environment in her classes.

Jasmine Goulet


Miss Jasmine was born and raised in Banff where she began dancing in ballet classes. Dance became her passion and she expanded her training into multiple genres (including jazz, contemporary, ballet, modern, lyrical and hip hop) while partaking in other sports and activities. As a dancer she had the opportunity to perform, compete and examine in multiple various styles. She obtained her Advanced 2 Ballet exam with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), as well as advanced examinations with the IDTA in ballet, jazz and modern.

Miss Jasmine began teaching and gaining certifications while completing her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Victoria. She is a Registered Teacher with the RAD, Acrobatic Arts, Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), is a Licentiate with the IDTA and has her Level 1 certification with Alberta Child Care. Miss Jasmine is currently in the ADAPT Teacher Training program and continually takes part in professional development courses and performance opportunities to develop her skills as a dancer, teacher and choreographer. 

As a teacher she aims to develop proper technique and performance skills, while promoting self-confidence and the love of dance. Miss Jasmine’s passion is infectious and she is excite to be taking on more reaching at BDA this season.
